Haygain 2000 - steaming smaller amounts

Anyone have the larger haygain steamer? Any issues with steaming say half a bale at a time? Does this alter the steam time, or is the goal to steam for 60min regardless of size? Do all the spikes on the 2 bottom manifolds need to be in contact with hay? or would it be an issue if smaller amount of hay leaves some of the spikes partially uncovered?

interesting product, I did find that Haygain LTD filed for receivership in January and was acquired by Farm & Stable in April 2024

if you receive no replies to you specific question here suggest you post the question on Horse & Hound since the Haygain product is of Britch production
