Hubby and I decided (last-minute) to drive on down to Lexington for the WEG next weekend. We have tix for the Final Four on Saturday night (Oct. 9). Planning to drive down and arrive on Friday morning.
We have a hotel room (in Richmond), and our tix for the Final Four. We have never done anything like this … any suggestions for a couple who has just 1-1/2 days?
Since I am now the proud owner of an OTTB, I am more interested than ever in the racing history stuff. What about a farm tour? The Final Four does not start until 8 pm on Saturday, and with no exit / re-entry, not sure we want to go straight to KHP on Saturday morning.
Suggestions? Ideas?
