Can someone give me some ideas or point me out a place where people talk about what’s “in” for western? Two ear, one ear, browband, buckles, etc.

I got an Arab/QH cross I’m interviewing for my all around horse and I’m eyeballing a western cattle sorting/trail show and I can’t help but browse Ebay but there are so many options!

Well, what type of shows are you wanting to go to?

If they are just local shows, go and watch a few shows first before you compete and see what people are wearing. Most of the time, your local cattle sorting event is going to be pretty laid back and you can wear whatever you want.

Is your horse registered? Are you looking at going to breed shows?
