? How would that be relevant?

An odd thought to come back with days later, to be sure.

is this going to become the insult for well heeled amateurs? Oh you bought a horse from helgstrand so you bought your way in? Who cares?

Sure it doesn’t really matter, but somehow I started to wonder… Obviously some of the competing AAs did buy horses from Helgstrand, and really I do not care about what they do, but isn’t it weird that the OP was stressing that HD was selling horses? For me it would make sense that one reason could be that she is now an unwanted competition… Horse selling business is pretty tough… I quoted the first post again…

In this post, the horse selling part seems to be pretty important…

Still don’t how the fact that Heidi sells horses makes it relevevant where the OP bought her horse? Very weird tangent on a thread that had died a natural death.

While Heidi gets some very nice horses to sell, they are not in the price range of the Helgstrand horses…

I’m guessing Heidi’s most expensive horse is still half of Helgstrand’s least expensive. The riders who work at Helgstrand probably aren’t world ranked and could have ridden the sales horses in the CDIAm,. I wonder how that would have sat with the OP?

You’re undying borderline obsession with amateur riders that are wealthy is strange.

So please elaborate how on earth you made the connection between the OP being salty that Heidi Degele sells horses and that the OP possibly bought her horse from Helgstrand? I’m not following.

We don’t know wheter or not the OP buys and sells horses as a gig.

I think you are missing the point completely… Maybe read before you post… I am not interested whether somebody is wealthy or not, I am wondering whether in the near future all the small horse sellers will disappear and only the big ones will stay… I don’t care because I don’t buy horses anyhow, but it will change the market. One or two big sellers will have a Monopol… And what looks cool now might not be so cool in the future…

Wow. I certainly did not get that from the previous post. And I read pretty darned well. I will add that more than once you have mentioned wealthy AAs in a negative light.

I suspect the market for a average horse sellers is a lot bigger, in terms of numbers of buyers, than the market for the $300k+ horses that the Helgstrands of the world sell.

Still don’t know how it’s relevant at all the OP’s lack of understanding about the CDI Am divisiion
