Once again I will repeat, they want the Helen Brach Murder solved soo bad!! Some have totally obsessed for years. They want Matlick & Jayne to be convicted of the murder even though there is no proof. In many many smaller cases I see great evidence of them getting away with frammming people with just what another convict,scum bag has been paid to say. So this is just business as usual but this case is much more in the limelight and it makes it more difficult to get away with their lies!

I wouldn’t know you from the man on the moon to be honest. Claim whomever you’d like as to who you are or related to for all I care. As to why you’d want to join a public BB and think you are clearing the air on this topic - among many - by challenging others on court records and documented testimony is asinine.
One of the key things about me is that - and this is after years of posting here - I always back up my comments with links to sources. e.g., the link to the NBC news story.

Otherwise the conviction is what it is.
Everyone creates their own future and has to live with their past. Good, bad or indifferent that’s the way it works. Best bet is do something positive today and tomorrow and stop trying to dredge up the past and claim foul.

Tigerpaws your statements have little credibility when you start out by not being honest about what I heard with my own ears and saw with my eyes on my computer. Joe Plemmons was very explicit about how the body was Helen Brach and how she was alive and movng and how he shot her in the head twice and then she stopped moving. It wasn’t until the newspaper story that there suddenly appeared the threat on his life and the gun used was growing by leaps and bounds (now a shot gun) and it got closer with each retelling.If that were true why did they need Joe Plemmons at all? Why didn’t the guy with shot gun just shoot her? Was it just to make Joe Plemmons part of the game? Why would they need a con man at that point or care about killing another person? Why not just shoot Joe and shut him up forever?
Unless you were there almost every day then you wouldn’t know if Lee Reiter was there or not! If you were there every day and your friends were buyers of these drugs that’s their problem and so far it’s the first time I’ve heard about drugs as an issue.
So if you were an insider and you knew all this were you a witness? And are you saying that goldy is right and that the reason they were all framed is because they couldn’t prove the drug charges. If you want to be believed then fess up and tell us who you are as goldy has done. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Goldy you know one of the regrets of my aged years is I’ve never tripped! I hear some of those trips are pretty weird but all those chemical aids came in after my time. And being so sedate and school teacher, a Mom and a Grandmom; like I’ve never been offered a trip!

A friend told me about this BB last night–I am reading a answering as I go. I had horses at Northwestern stables for years–I’m 65 and know all the players. Snowbird you obviously did not see the taped interview of Joe Plemmons on ABC Channel 7–I did–he at no time said he shot Helen in the head twice–Furthermore he never even said he shot her. You can buy a tape from ABC news Chicago. No where in any interview taped or otherwice does he say that! I’m only on page six–I’m sure you will hear from me again.
Please send me some of those smart pills that you are taking from your barn. I know someone who needs them real bad and it is not me.

Well Helen Brach’s estate I assume is where it should be. The money she paid various people for horses has no doubt has been spent. I think I read somewhere They paid over $300,000 for the disposal of the body. That money is probably what is financing Joe but he wrote it off a horse sales or commissions. Maybe even gambling profits.
In this case the money trail is blurred because there are too many cooks in the plot.There are rarely witnesses to a heinous crime that are not involved.
I think the question is what is there yet unknown that is so valuable as information that it was worth letting the confessed murder run amuck and the Feds take the rap for inefficiency?
We know the scam is still running so does Joe know the names of the people who took over from the Jayne family? If they are now respectable rich that could be worth a lot of blackmail payments as horses bought. Maybe, that’s why Joe Plemmons has become an “untouchable”.

I think you’re onto something there LLDM. Using an unsolved murder to look into the dirty laundry of a lot of people would be something I can see the current FBI regime (or whomever) doing. And they’ve got Joe “Flipper” Plemmons to help them out. But they seem really stupid to use him as he would have zilch credibility as a witness. How many times has his story changed? A con man and professional witness for the prosecution. Yeah, I’d believe him if I were on a jury.
I still don’t get why they can’t ‘get’ the caretaker who was stealing from Helen’s cookie jar as soon as she was dead (before he called the police about her missing, according to “Hot Blood” and for some time after). He’s got to know who he handed her over to and it would be one of 4 or so people in the car? AND, if he’s forging her names on checks then he knows she’s dead.

I think there is a good chance they figured no one would speak up like this and they would walk all over us using other peoples bad reputions to put my dad in jail for killing her and they would get the other 2 men that they really wanted and they would look like great men.I feel like it has become a common practice to pay crimminal alot of money to say the things they want to hear!!!

goldy - Amazing how you sobered up between 12:17 & 2:52 am. You said that you were going to sleep at 12:17, so I guess that the reason for your rambling, grammar & spelling has to do with the fact that you sleep only 2 1/2 hours a night. You might want to rethink your sleeping routine.
and goldy again - We are NOT making fun of this very serious situation. We’re just playing with you. If you know the truth than why not go to the police and let this case be settled once and for all? How could you every expect us to take you seriously?
