ASTM/SEI helmet required for youth classes, right?
Is there a particular brand/style that’s “in”?

Required currently in the huntseat/fence classes, not western or speed classes. As to fashion, whatever fits best that is nicer than a plastic schooling variety.
Saw both the Charles Owen and GPAs at Congress and the World show last year and they weren’t worn just by the kids, either. It would appear that the AQHA folks are finally tuning into what’s “in” with the open hunter/jumper riders.
