Helmet for small jaw

I recently got a Trauma Void helmet and while I love it (and it was the one that fit me best out of the ones I had available to try), I do sometimes feel like the chin strap is too far forward and I’m going to lose it, which is obviously NOT safe.

I do have a really small jaw, but a sort of average sized head. I’m like an Alien. Before the Trauma Void I had a Charles Owen JR8, and the harness fit me better, but I also hated it.

Recommendations for a helmet with a harness that fits a small jaw? It’s like the strap on the Trauma Void is too far forward, if that makes any sense. Or has anyone had one adjusted/modified?

You can adjust the TV harness a little bit, which might be enough to help. At the triangle part, make the front piece as long as possible and the back piece as short as possible, which will pull the harness back a bit. I have the same problem - if I don’t adjust the harness the strap nearly ends up in my mouth.

They do seem to be designed further forward than other brands though, so if adjusting the harness isn’t enough you’ll need to go with another brand.

I had the same problem initially with my OneK, but the leather did relax pretty quickly and now sits in the right spot. I just fastened it tightly at first and put up with the discomfort.

It was worth it to me because I really wanted a MIPS helmet and OneK has always been the most comfortable/best fitting helmet for me.

I had the exact same issue with my TV and was constantly fidgeting and adjusting. I now have a Samshield and feel way more secure with the chinstrap, total nonissue.
