We’re having a warm spring day here, so I got to thinking about my summer riding gear (mainly, sun protection). I have a helmet sun visor from Smartpak and it’s got great coverage, but the moment the wind kicks up, or I want to jump, it goes flying off the helmet, no matter how tightly I try to attach it. FWIW, I have a Charles Owen Ayr8. Anyone have suggestions for a visor that stays put through thick and thin?

These people advertise that their brims stay on even at speed/wind. I believe a fair number of endurance people are wearing them. I bought one at Christmas time, and have fooled around with putting it on my helmet, but haven’t ridden with it yet (it would look kind of odd over my full face fleece helmet cover! - heavy into winter here). The velcro section that goes over the brim is very very strong velcro, and the straps seem very adjustable.
Oh cool! Those look promising.
I have this: http://www.doversaddlery.com/equivisor/p/X1-36205/
I haven’t worn it in quite some time because I smushed it, but I really should get a new one (I have lupus). When I wore it, it would slide around a bit, but would mostly stay on.
Best visor EVER!! They stay on no matter what. My trainer has even gone XC in hers and it stayed put. Bonus…The owner is the nicest women and I love to support her!
^WANT! No lack of things to buy.

I use this one. I look like a dork but it works.
I completely agree. I LOVE my Soless visor too! I can see through the visor since it’s transparent and it does not fly away even when you are galloping!!
Stick on patches of velcro do the trick beautifully.

Special added bonus: you can wear it for your home production of Doubt.
