I can’t log in to NBC streaming. I have Dish but when I click on Dish from the NBC olympic site it goes to blank page with “waiting to bring up dish” and nothing happens. I tried last night and early this morning.
I’m tech impaired so whats is wrong? Is anyone else having trouble? I am following the very basic idiot proof instructions on NBC site but its not working for me. |

I am a technotard, but it seems to me that “live streaming” doesn’t happen until the Olympics start and there are events to stream – live --.

In speaking to the geeks at the DISH…
They yesterday directed me to the Internet site for dish. I had to set up an account online, which I have never had. I had to do this with help as they asked several weird questions that the tech didn’t even know the answer to.:rolleyes: IIUC, I can now watch the live stream thru NBC Universal, which I will be dependent on since they will apparently be covering very little equestrian events on tv.
Call Dish tech and see if they can help.
There are events going on today, so live streaming has already begun. Can’t help about Dish, though.
I’m furious that Comcast only uses Silverlight, which cuts out Linux users entirely. I think NBC did that last time, but fortunately has seen the error of their ways.

SAME HERE! I installed the new Flash Player, I restarted, I set up the log in with my cable company, but when I get to the sign in page it is a total blank. It works on my iPad but that’s a little awkward for two to watch.

This is my first post, so hopefully it will be helpful. I have Charter and had the same problem with my PC where I would get to step 2 and get a blank box with the Olympic logo on the left. It happened with every browser I tried. Funny that it worked on my laptop and BlackBerry Playbook, but the processors are too slow to keep the feed running. I thought it was my Norton blocking something, but that wasn’t the problem.
I searched ALL DAY and finally found the solution below posted on the Firefox help forum. It works with Firefox, but I didn’t try other browsers. The person got this solution from the NBC Olympic tech support. The link is a bit weird in that it’s an interactive site, so it does clear your flash cache on your computer. When you click on “delete all sites” it may look like it didn’t do anything, but it works.
- Clear your browser cookies 2) Clear your flash cache by going to this page: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html and and click “delete all sites”. 3) Close your browser 4) Reopen your browser
