Also, anyone know how Courbette trees tend to do on wide-backed horses? I don’t know yet what the tree width is, I have to ask the seller. Just wondering in general.
Based on the numbers on the billet flap, my guess would be that the tree width is a 31 cm, a medium wide.
oh duh, yeah. I thought it said 3P, I see the 31 now.
Darn. Probably won’t work but it’s driving distance so maybe I can take it home to check the fit on her.
I had an older German made Courbette in a 32 tree. My Stubben 32 fits my pony well, but that Courbette 32 was vastly wider. So if you need a wide saddle, it’s worth a try. I would guess that it might be an Aristocrat.
I have two wide backed low/no withered horses and my 31 cm tree Courbette fitts them beautifully. Good luck!
