Help! Kitten found in drop ceiling at office (with pic)

What a lucky little kitty. He sure seems to have a guardian angel. Hope his story continues to have happy endings.

Yay, that is the best possible news. Jingles that all continues to go well for him; he is a really lucky fellow.

Wow, that’s great he has a new mommy. Hope everything works out for the little guy. Thanks for taking him in.

Thanks guys! I will try and get a photo of him with his new mum when I get home from work to post for you guys.

Wonderful news!!! And yes, please, photos.

JINGLES & AO CONTINUE ~

AND YES ! PICTURES PLEASE AND DOES HE HAVE A NAME YET ?

No name yet, but a few have been thrown around. One idea was Smudge because of the black spot on his back and dipped tail, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I get off work in about 2 hours and I will try and get photos and have them uploaded by tomorrow.

Great news, but is there any way you can contain mom & litter so 1) she doesn’t run off & get pregnant again before she can be spayed, & 2) kittens can be rehomed before they too run off & get pregnant or impregnate others?

Well yes, that is the plan, as I try to do with all the ones that get dumped off. One belongs to a neighbor and doesn’t have her kittens at my farm, but whenever they are old enough, you see her bringing them across the field to my house. I took the last litter back to her owners and I haven’t had any trouble since…lol.

I’m pretty certain all my females are spayed and I have all but one male neutered and I just can’t catch him to get it done. It’s hard to tell for sure though because some show up for 2 days then leave for a year before I see them again. There are 5 permanent barn residents and they are all fixed along with as many of the transients I can catch as they show up is what I should have said I guess.

It’s a bitch, isn’t it? At one point I had a separate bank account for stray kitty “fixin’s”.

One has to wonder how the people who dump these animals sleep at night knowing that someone else is spending their own hard-earned cash to fix their problems.

Yep, it sucks, but what are you going to do? I do call and see if the vet knows of any programs doing low cost altering and oftentimes they do, so that helps some.

How far are you from Bedias/College Station/Huntsville.

I have more than enough goat’s milk for anyone in need. Hopefully you won’t need it now, but I noticed you were in Texas too and thought I would offer.

Thanks Epona! I did find goat’s milk, one container only…lol.

But, I have bad news. When I arrived home on Friday, I had a sick dog and a lame horse, so those took precendent over checking on the kitties. After I had those squared away, I went to check the kitties and they were all gone. The momma must have taken them off somewhere and I have yet to find them. I did catch a glimpse of the mom yesterday afternoon sunning in the pasture, so I don’t think she took them far, I just have to find out where.

YOU’LL FIND THEM ~~ SHE IS JUST PROTECTING ```

ALL THE FAITH YOU WILL FIND THEM ``` SHE IS JUST ‘PROTECTING’ … WILL LIKELY MOVE THEM MORE THAN ONCE OR TWICE UNTIL SHE COMES TO ‘TRUST’ YOU …
