But that definitely falls into a “cutesy” category. Rain Shadow is still in the running, even if I move and have to explain it, it’s because of where I came from right?
Yes, it is “cutesy.” It popped into my head and now I have that song as an ear worm!
Flight Check Farm
OooooohhhH!!!
There was a private farm near me called “Eight Bay Farm”. You could adjust the number to match the number of bays you have. I was never sure if it was all horses or some garage bays.
First Flight Farm (with a cool triple F logo)
Trashy Neighbor Acres
Hahahahahahaha along the same vein: That Isnt My Barn Stables, Those Aren’t My Horses Farm, I Have a Relationship With the Vet Acres, Not Them Farm, Over Here Stables, Drive Past That Place Farm
My thought process was that it ties into the plane flights overhead, riders flying around the schooling course and/or over the fences and/or down the conditioning track, riders checking their progress by coming to your facility – are they ready to take off. That kind of thing.
Probably politically incorrect these days, but the woman I rode with as a kid called her place “El Rancho Costa Toomucha”.
Sea Eire Farm?
Or, EirenSea (Air ‘n’ [and] Sea) ?
Some good suggestions already. My first thought was: Under the Radar Hippodrome. ok ok so maybe horse park instead of hippodrome. did I mention I’m not good at naming things?
I mean… one look at your handle and I can guess
I was thinking Airborne Farm because jumping = airborne. But then realized falling off = airborne too. .
Ooof good point!
I like First Flight Farm. Reminds me of planes and also fox hunting / jumping. And by proxy Irish horses or maybe Take Flight Farm.
I like this one best so far…
Reminds me of a stable named JAFTICA Stables. Even more politically incorrect.
I can’t make out what that stands for?
All that came to mind was Flying High Farms.
Very cool and nice of you to set up something like this for the community.
Just Another F*cking Toy I Can’t Afford.
No original ideas from me, but I like First Flight Farm and Flyover Farm because they’d have cool monograms and they both have double meanings.
First Flight= first class, original or groundbreaking
Flyover= associated with the air traffic, and the countryside setting
And they both have a connotation to jumping: “flying” over obstacles!
