I am trying to find a knock off PS of Sweden Paladin or Paragon noseband. I’m not trying to spend $100+ on a noseband alone until/ unless I know the horse will like it. She is quite fussy in the bridle (currently in the Pioneer) and it was suggested to find something that sits up higher on her nose and possibly remove the flash. I’d love to find one with a removable flash so I can try both ways, as I think she likes the flash/ drop action of the Pioneer as it helps stabilize the bit some but agree moving the noseband up could help as well. It looks like Passier makes a similar noseband for half the cost BUT that’s still $$$ for only a noseband (vs a whole bridle) and the plain (non patent) version doesn’t come with the rings that I’m looking for. Help me save some money and make my pony happy! Links below of what I’m referencing.
