Help me ID an Older Prestige dressage saddle, stitching on the seat?

I have been watching for a Prestige dressage saddle that I can afford and stumbled across an older model that has a stitch pattern on the seat. I’ve seen one other like it listed so I don’t think its any kind of a repair, rather how the model looks, and the serial number pre-dates the modern numbering system so its likely 20+ years old. Serial 1833114015. Sadly I have no idea if I can attach a pic here to show you - but if you’ve seen this model you’d know what I mean. Seam straight up the center of the seat and it arches out towards the side of the seat to make a pattern on the seat. I’m looking for a model name, if possible, and any other info about this model. How is the twist? durability? Hoping I’ll be able to trial the saddle, but I always like to research anything before buying.

Thank you!!

Can you post a photo?

I’ve seen a lot of Prestige saddles (tons for sale over here), and I think I’ve seen something similar to what you describe. Can’t recall that it was a Prestige, but might have been.

Would be really useful to have pictures. If you contact Prestige directly, they might be able to assist in identification. Some brands are better about this than others.

I think I may have seen a couple of these pop up for sale, as I noticed the seat pattern right away. I’ll see if I can find the ads because I’m pretty sure the model was listed.

For the serial number, the “1833” should refer to seat size 18", tree 33 (which is Prestige’s medium, assuming the tree hasn’t been adjusted). I have a newer Prestige dressage and this part of the serial number is the same.

This is the same style, right? Sorry but I thought the model was listed in the ad and it’s not. Perhaps contact a Prestige dealer who might recognize the model? Not sure where you’re located but we have a couple in Ontario who I think would be pretty familiar with Prestige who could help.

(I uploaded a photo…I don’t know if it’s working as it’s the first time I’ve tried on the new site)

Contact Ron at allsaddles.com. He is a Prestige rep and can likely ID the saddle for you.

Is it a dressage or endurance saddle?
