Help me pick a bridle!

Ok COTH. I have been wanting a new jump bridle for my horse for a while but I’m having trouble deciding on a brand. I’ve been canvassing all the Facebook groups and eBay hoping to score a great deal on a really high end one, but I haven’t been able to find one that checks all my boxes.

Here is what I am looking for:
Havana brown
monocrown and decently padded on noseband
flash (not figure 8)
prefer it to come with rubber reins or similar
Prefer buckle ends
$100-200

I was thinking about buying one of the Dover single crown bridle, but they don’t have buckle ends and I haven’t seen them in person to judge the leather quality. Can anyone vouch for the quality?

Other brand recommendations appreciated!

Here are two options:

I’ve been lusting after this one: http://www.ridingwarehouse.com/Kaval…page-KELI.html

I think it checks all your boxes! And nice thing about Riding Warehouse, it’s free shipping both ways. So if you don’t like something about the bridle, send it back! I have their Bobby’s Fancy stitched bridle in Havana for jumping. It’s top quality at a very reasonable price, monocrown. If I needed a new bridle, I’d be giving the Kavalcade Ivy a go!

I was considering this one:

I like the removable flash. Of course the exchange rate isn’t as good as it was last year.

Have you looked at Lund Saddlery? I ordered one after seeing them in person. The quality for the price is impressive - much better than Dover in my opinion.

A 2nd vote for this bridle. It looks fantastic!

Checks all boxes and I personally have one in Havana and it matches my dark brown bates saddle perfectly. I also want to mention that it does come from India, but with the free shipping it came to Texas in 3ish days. It was also super soft and buttery right out of the package, super well made and recommend 100%.

The Lund ones are awesome. I have the hunter bridle with no flash and love it. Leather is nice and soft out of the box, cleans great and shows no sign of wear since I got it last July.

Thanks for all the tips! I like the Lund bridle but the price doesn’t include reins and it doesn’t have buckle ends (we do change bits pretty regularly depending on circumstances and who is riding him so the buckle ends def make that easier). Leaning toward the Kavalkade… how does the leather on that compare to the smartpak Harwich line?

I haven’t had anything from Smartpak, so not sure on that.

I got the kavalcade ivy for Christmas. Fits well looks good. Ok quality leather. Fit is getting better as leather softens with use and cleaning.
