There are 101 Olympic threads, but they all relate to individual disciplines and not how to watch from what I can tell. I’m trying my best to watch a replay of the Eventing dressage from this AM but cannot find replays or even the equestrian section anywhere in the NBC Sports app on my Amazon Firestick. I see options for live events, but not for any replays at all. I’ve googled but only results for how to watch live and that you can watch replays in the NBC Sports app (but not HOW or where). I apologize for asking what is likely a silly question but I’m beyond frustrated with the technology and just wanna watch the ponies dance.
I had to join NBC’s peacock to see the replays.
Peacock has all the replays. No idea if it is still available but I was able to sign up in June for $20 for a whole year.
I watched the eventing replays on the peacock app. 7.99/mo currently. There are ads so that’s annoying. And you have to fast forward to see the riders you want. Never thought I’d miss ClipMyHorse, but at least there I could watch the riders I wanted to see without having to scrub through manually.
Agh so frustrating to have multiple apps for the same(ish) thing (NBC Sports and Peacock). I don’t think we have a Peacock subscription so I guess we’ll be signing up. Hopefully that will do the trick.
I am another person who joined Peacock just to watch fun Olympics coverage.
It has been amazing. I can watch whatever I want.
I just watched surfing. I know nothing about surfing but it was so fun to watch.
Join Peacock for a month. Don’t bother with premium, still has pauses where the ads are.
Open app and use Search for Equestrian
Add anything you want to watch to My Stuff
Everything will then be in your My Stuff to watch live or replay when you have time to watch
I missed the first few hours of dressage this morning and it took a couple of hours for the replay to become available but worked well
Agree it is annoying finding a rider is annoying but the commentary is good IMO
Enjoy!
Peacock has been awesome. I’m not sure if the one I’m on has ads or not. The replays are up and have no ads or breaks just hours of horses.
Download a VPN and try CBC GEM, wonderful coverage!
The version of Peacock that I have has some commercials, and the commercial breaks are long at times, but generally I did not find I missed horses (or other stuff, in gymnastics they had the commercials while the ladies were warming up for the next station).
I got in by joining Peacock! Annoying that NBC advertises that replays are available on the NBC Sports app when they don’t appear to be and, instead, you have to join peacock. Ah well, at least I can watch now.
To watch Olympic replays of the Eventing dressage on your NBC Sports app via Amazon Firestick, follow these steps: Open the NBC Sports app and navigate to the main menu. Look for a “Replays” or “Events” section—sometimes labeled as “On Demand.” Within that section, find the equestrian category or search for “Eventing Dressage” directly. If you still can’t find it, try updating the app or checking NBC Sports’ website on a computer for replay options. Additionally, make sure you’re signed in with the correct cable or streaming provider credentials that include access to Olympic content.
