Kieffer lech profi 18” vs sommer 18”

The one that fits you and your horse. Without seeing more there is no way to advise.

I rode in a Profi for years and loved it. It’s fairly close contact but comfortable.

Saddles are a bit like finding jeans you like - it’s a personal preference thing in a lot of ways. But you’re sharing your jeans with your horse - lol - so there’s two opinions involved. I’ve been in Saddle Shopping Hell before, it is no fun!

I rode in a Kieffer Lech Profi for many years. I liked the saddle, but there was nothing soft or cushy about it!

Sommer is a brand. Is there a model you would like compared to the Lech Profi? The last Sommer I tried ( I forget the model) was very deep. If you ride in an 18" Kieffer and are looking at deeper seated models by Sommer, you will probably want a larger size than 18". However I have also ridden in (older) open/flatter seated models (again, I don’t recall which). Both are very solid German brands.

So i went with a 19” sommer flextra, comes weds im so excited
