What about the one where a poor college student in TN sold a TB mare to people in FL? The horse went out on trial, was shown by the new owners, there were delays on decision-making by the buyers, and most everyone here thought the seller was going to end up ripped off IIRC. I thought the world was going to end with that one - it’s not often that everyone on COTH agrees!

That one is the Florida Horse Saga and is already one of the favorites.

Yes I would’ve thought that googling “Kadie” would come up with something, but alas, no.
Perhaps Blind Alter made up the whole story and is hurriedly composing in crayon to satisfy the fan base.

Oh I know. I’m totally ruined now. Every time I see Appasionato’s name, I say “Asspantio” to myself, and then start giggling. 
Am I going to have to read this asspants thread to find out what all the fun was about? I’m supposed to be working!
You could read it all, you’d get the gist of it better that way. But the synopsis: It was a pretty serious conversation with rapid posting and a lot of us reading as new facts were put in. And someone followed one of Appassionato’s posts with her agreement, saying something like “I agree with what Asspantio said…” and went on. I was reading so fast I went right into the posting and then said “WAHAHAHA! What the heck was THAT?! ASSPANTIO!!” Seems like everyone had about the same reaction.
Major spewage and keyboard clean-up ensued.
Darn, I was hoping someone pulled asspantio out as a major insult, because that would have been pretty clever. Not that I have any reason to think appassionato deserves to be insulted.
Naw Mandy, but what was sooo hilarious was the poster was trying to be so serious in her reply to Appassionato.
It all went rather vaudeville after that. :lol:

There had been some misunderstandings and heated arguments in that thread, but in this particular case it was just a typo. I sat there a few minutes probably like everyone else did, trying to “get” the joke of it. When I realized it was a typo, I howled with laughter! Poor poster felt terrible once they realized the mistake, but I honestly thought that was the funniest typo I’d seen in a long time.
