Help! Where to buy a 6" bit

I’m wanting to buy a 6" Cheltenham (Egg Butt) Gag. The MFH of my hunt recently loaned me hers and my horse goes beautifully in it. I can ride with a loose rein and have no fears that I won’t be able to stop when necessary.

I tried DraftTack.com, but they sent me a loose ring gag, although it appeared to be an egg but pictured on their site. Any suggestions on where else to look. I can’t use anything smaller than 6". Actually, a 6 1/2 would probably be best for my Percheron/TB mare. Any and all help would be appreciated.

She has big guys and tends to carry a good selection of tack for big ones or she knows where to get it. Tell her Stoney’s dad sent you

drafttack.com ?

saddleshop.com usually has some 6 or 6 1/2" bits.

I got mine via an Ebay UK seller - always seems to be a better selection of bigger bits there, and the postage isn’t prohibitive…just remind them politely to package the bit up REALLY well.

I hunt my spotted draft and have ordered a couple 6+ bits from Myler. I just saw a 6" comfort mouth D ring by Myler hanging up at Dover in Wellesley, Ma.

The Tack Box in Middleburg has quite a few 6" bits and can get most anything in that size.
