I need to give my builder specs to build a mirror wall. Of course, I can picture all the ones I’ve seen and had, but that’s not so helpful. What size mirrors do you have? And how high off the ground are they? Did you tilt them, or put them on flat? Thanks in advance…
Get in touch with Karen Lipp. She is a dressage pro in Georgia. Her husband is a builder and he built her some awesome mirrors. And built some for other persons too. Between the two of them I am sure they could give you the information you need.
If you use glass mirrors I suggest that you apply protective film such as 3Ms. Even if the mirrors are of tempered glass the protective film will contain the glass if a thrown shoe hits a mirror
I know people who have gotten mirrors from hotels that are being renovated.
Our indoor has th mirrors set approx 3-4 feet above the footing. Yhe wall is 70feet lonb and 7 mirrors covered it.
May be stating the obvious but don’t forget one or two on the corners to see straightness down the long side.
merrygoround, thank you so much! That height off the ground is what I was looking for!
