Just putting this out here
Former trainer/friend bought herself a 3yo Peppy San Badger gelding. Last time I checked, he was showing 4th Level Dressage & that was a couple years ago.
What was that saying:
“You don’t ride the breed, you ride the horse you have”
That goes for size too

When we were kids, we’d be more likely to see this kind of thing in Shetland Ponies (in hand) and Saddlebreds (my sister had one). So we’d make up some funny names, too.
