What an unfortunate fluke. He was so lucky to land with you. He flourished and had a grand time for a good bit. You recognized he was experiencing difficulties and did right by him. He was loved. He knew that. You made that happen. I’m sorry you’ve lost him, and thank you for sharing him.

He did, when the world was getting me down, I saved certain threads; Henry, Eightponds farm, etc …as balm.
I’m grateful we got taken a long on the adventure.

I still haven’t been able to write the response I want to leave. I have been so uplifted by your journey with Henry and I am so, so sorry that it ended this way. You gave him a wonderful life and made the best choice for him when necessary. Not to anthropomorphize much, but he was a happy hony and I think he’d like to be remembered that way. Which he will be by his aunties.

Oh gosh, what a shocking and sad update. I’m so sorry for you and everyone else Henry touched. Thank you for sharing him with us and for letting him go when that’s what needed to happen. Big hugs!
