Heritage Farm auctions?

Does anyone have any input re: Heritage Farm in Easthampton, MA auctions?

Today they had their “summer wrap up auction” in which they auction off all the horses coming back from summer camp leases, so they are supposedly lesson/school type horses. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it, but I am curious as to the price range these horses go for.

I’m interested in this type of horse (kid safe, lesson-type) and the other big “sales” barn in the area is Strain’s, about which there are already some old threads, but I can find nothing about Heritage. (The little I know from living somewhat locally is that they are very nice, honest people) but I’m just curious to know what these off-lease camp horses go for, ballpark, as compared to Strain’s (consensus seems to be that Strains prices are kinda high.)

Any thoughts/input/“herd-isms”?

I have worked at summer camps. I wouldn’t consider it a slam dunk that all of the horses are kid safe let alone lesson types! Maybe it is different here in the midwet though.

The guy who supplied horses for the camp where I worked kept all his good ones and leased them out over winter. We would get most of the same horses back every year. Anything that wasn’t working out went to sale. I don’t know anything about this particular auction, but I feel like whatever’s getting sold off is probably not the cream of the kid-safe crop.
