Can anyone recommend short term rentals near HITS Ocala for Jan-March?
I’d be open to anything from an entire house, condo, trailer or even possibly a room in a house.
What sites should I be looking on?
Golden Ocala is nice but expensive
Ocala Palms is a little less nice, slightly further away but more affordable
The best luck people I know have found is renting from individuals not sites, if I were you I would call whoever you know in the area and see what you can find.
I know horse and hound usually rents out the apartment above the restaurant for the winter but that can be loud

Yes last winter we had a townhouse. It was ok. I wasn’t there much so it didn’t matter to me but the rented furnishings weren’t great and the neighbors were loud. I won’t be staying there this year.
Is there anywhere to look other then Craigslist?
There is a great fb group, I believe it’s The Plaid Horse Ocala classifieds. Have found several housing options there.
I’m also open to apartments on horse farms. Open to the idea of cleaning stalls and light grooming duties. I’m only bringing 1-2 horses and will have a lot of down time. I’m a normal down to earth person.

Is this a user on the forum?
You may actually find more places via Facebook networking. Many places don’t advertise housing other than FB or putting up those little lawn signs. There is also ocala4sale.com and Craigslist
