Im asking this question on behalf of a friend who is looking to breed a mare to a His Highness son, Any opinions on either Hoftanz or Hampton or any other HH sons??
My personal experience of Hoftanz and 2 offspring was sharp! The one was far too difficult for the dressage career he was bred for, but in the right (very experienced) hands, he did really well in young horse show jumping classes. I don’t know how far he progressed as he was sold on.
Hampton has a superb temperament and is a really solid and sensible type. I think he is progessing very nicely in his training

One of my friends has a Hampton x Herzensdieb 3 yr old. He is just lovely, super type, super mover, super character. Hoftanz is amazing but was recently castrated.
I have a 3 year old His Highness/Quattro B/Romancier Oldenburg stallion that was licenced Canadian Warmblood as a 2 year old, and I hope to present him for his Stallion Performance Test in the next year or two. He is one to consider if you are fan of His Highness. His mother showed PSG and schooled all the GP work. Nice gaits, super rideable, very cute over fences so far.
