Holiday Card Exchange

Back for the annual card exchange. Figured this year we could really use it!

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Send me an email at cothholidaycard@gmail.com with the following information: COTH name, REAL name, complete address (international is ok), and email address where I can contact you if I have questions (if other than the email you sent me the info at)

  2. I will put everything into a spreadsheet that you can then use to print your labels (there are directions on the outside of the label package for anyone who needs help)

  3. Send me your info no later than November 25th ish, I will get the list out to everyone early December . That gives everyone about a month to get cards stuffed and sent.

A few people asked last year what to send. I have received everything from a simple card with a signature to a full page letter with multiple pictures. All were welcome. Anything about you or your horse(s) or that you want to share with everyone is acceptable!

If you have any questions, let me know. Otherwise, let the sign up begin!!

Yay! Yay yay YAY!

So glad to see this happening this year. I’m facing my first Christmas totally alone due to border restrictions and could definitely use some “pretty holiday card” therapy…

Thanks Polydor for making this happen!

Awww this is wonderful, I love it!

Yay - AND more support for the USPS!

Yay! Emails have been replied too.

Do you have a ballpark of how many people normally sign up or is this new this year? If not, I can wait, trying to figure out how many cards I should order

Hooray!

Done! Love this. Last year the only cards I got were from my mom, and COTHers!

Yeah, thanks for organizing! I love getting these cards, as so few people send anything any more (a holiday post on Facebook just isn’t the same…

Let me check my spreadsheet from past years and will get back to you !

Everyone else: will check emails in a couple hours !

Please sign me up! I’ve really enjoyed doing this the past few years, and since Christmas will be at home this year with very little excitement, I think I’ll enjoy it even more.

Sending email now.

Bumping this up. So people can actually find the thread in this chaos.

I’m in! I’m really missing human contact this year–I have family members at high risk and I’m an essential worker, so I don’t feel right about visiting home, and even get-togethers with friends have been limited to outdoors. A little holiday cheer will be nice.

So welcome. I want to get to the craft store and hand make cards this year. I need the fun of this.

Really looking forward to it!

Sorry for taking so long. I think it’s usually around 20-25.

Yes!! :grinning:
I look forward to this card exchange every year.
Thanks for organising it.

Bumping this up so people can find it. Would love some people to join!

COTHers, if anyone is feeling grouchy/lonely about the holiday season, sign up to do this! It is really fun getting holiday cards from all over the country, and hearing how much all these different people enjoy their horse fix.

Polydor, sign me up again. I’m working on the Ironwood Farm card. Nothing has changed on my address information.
