Holsteiner stallion Diarado

Does anyone have any opinions (of course they do!!) on Holsteiner stallion Diarado? Rideability of offspring for example.

The first generation of Diarado´s are turning 4 this year, so we have to wait and see how they perform. Diarado’s foal crops are characterized by typey offspring. He needs a big mare, as he tends to produce small.

He has an approved son in Holstein named Dinken.

I love the look of Dinken, I’ll be interested to see what he produces! He was quite the cheeky boy at the licensing in Neumunster in November; he managed to escape from his handler several times and gallivant around the ring. I have a soft spot for the troublemakers…

I too liked Dinken. Top stallion. I also like the fact that his mother was a very good inter. jumper .

Top colt. Or top stallion prospect. We do not yet know anything about him being a top stallion.

Top STALLION. He was an approved STALLION at the Holsteiner STALLION approvals.

I never said he was a top future BREEDING Stallion. Go play word games with someone else.

Is Diarado getting many mares in Holstein now or is he not that popular with breeders there?

Yes he is getting plenty of mares. Tricky to breed with though…you need a big framed , noble mare.

He had the most mares on the elite mare show last year than any other stallion. This years show starts today so we will see if he has that continued success.

There is a beautiful mare at the barn I have my youngster in training. She’s by Diarado out of an Ariadus mare I think. Beautiful type and foundation, nice mover and coming along nicely!

Dinken does look very impressive. Here is the Facebook page for Diarado.
