Anyone have one? Could have sworn there was a thread but I cant seem to find it. I use magic cushion at shows but for more general use after longer rides ect I like to use something cheaper.
Betadine and sugar?
We used to pour epsom salts in their feet, then squirt liquid DMSO all over and vet wrap/duct tape a diaper over it. Kinda a mess and a pain, though.
I have used the Betadine and sugar mix (aka sugardine) as well very successfully.
I have done the sugar and betadine before but what my friend used to make for me used something like pine tar and some other ingredients mixed with saw dust anyone use something like that?

i have also made my own packing, i mix epsom salt, sore-no-more gelotion and betadine in a big waterproof supplement or poultice tub - you want it the consistency of the green goop epsom salt poultices you buy in stores. i’d say i do about a whole package of epsom salt, 1/4-1-1/2c of betadine, a full or very close to full container of the sore-no-more gelotion and if i have it on hand, a few eye-drops of pure peppermint extract for circulation. the ingredient amount isn’t exact - add betadine until it is the right consistency. it keeps very well, and is essentially the same thing as the much more expensive epsom poultice called magnapaste.
