Any recommendations for someone to help fit hoof boots for an OTTB in Western NY. Thinking Scoots, but open to other brands.
Just pulled the shoes for winter, but now she’s a little sore going out in the pasture (improving quickly - shoes just came off Thursday). Also the weather is turning out nice enough I might be able to get in a few more rides this fall but don’t want to re-shoe for a few short rides, I figure boots will also work in the spring to start work before shoes go back on. **She is normally barefoot every winter and is generally fine for turn out, but I know I can’t do much work with her barefoot, she just doesn’t grow enough foot.
