Hoof Hardener for Ouchy Feet?

MadBarn has them separately and as a 3:1 ratio.

Ok I must have misread the Hoof Master webpage!

The issue I found with the straight 3:1 cu/zn from MadBarn is the palatability. My horse wouldn’t even eat a fraction of a teaspoon added to their meal. It’s a lot simpler to feed something like Hoofmaster that my horse will eat straight up than fiddle endlessly with carriers and gradually increasing dosage on the straight cu/zn so it actually gets eaten.

You could compare to the amounts in AT+. But if you want to be really optimal you also need to check the ratios against your hay test and iron levels iirc.

When I went down the rabbit hole on this stuff I remember reading a study that while excess biotin won’t help hoof growth it has no negative effects either. Selenium on the other hand you need to watch but sounds like you are on top of that.
