Hoofpick help

Hi, long time lurker here from the UK.

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this but I’m desperately seeking help.

Several years ago I bought a Noble Outfitters hoofpick and I’d really like another. But the only place in the UK that has them in stock wants nearly fifty pounds for it

So I thought I’d get one from Dover and have it shipped, still cheaper than the price tag over here. Unfortunately they are not currently shipping overseas.

So, here I am hoping that the collective power of this wonderful forum might be able to help me out…

contact a UPS Store as most are privately own, talk with the manger to see about having Dover send the thing to you there then have the UPS Store forward to you. They do international shipping and are set up to act as your agent

I was in outside sales for major manufacturers for decades, many of the small accounts used the UPS Store fronts as their “office addresses” and had parts sent there for their pickup or forwarding.

Which particular model do you want? The one with the unicorn horn handle?

I see the Noble Outfitters brand hoof picks listed at Dover Saddlery here in the USA in several configurations for under $10. If one of them fits your desires, maybe someone here could buy and send you one at a fair price.

Sometimes when an online shop is out of stock they find it easier to bump the price to a ridiculous level no one would ever try buying, rather than remove the ad or alter the copy. It’s easier to just go back and change the price when the item becomes available. Wayfair apparently doea this which gave rise to crazy rumors

Just in case anyone wants to buy from a seller overseas who won’t deliver to your country, search for “shipping forwarders” or “package forwarding service” on Google. There are lots out there and they can all send your stuff on for a small fee.

Tried that site, but sadly they don’t actually have it in stock - having some sort of issue with their website. Thank you for looking though!
