thank you all. It is sooo hard not knowing. I moved down here to be closer to family and I feel it has just opened the wound deeper. I am happy that my parents seem a bit better from my move.

Kristi, if you are working with a government agency on this, perhaps a call or letter to your representative(s) might get things going. Just a thought.

What about getting a government agency or representative involved?
This must be absoltuley horrible for you and being rude to you just cuts deeper. That’s not right.
Here in Canada, we can go to our Municipal or Provincial representatives, councillors etc., to get some type of immediate action - they’ll make calls or write letters to let them know that the issue is moving up the ranks - what about a local Senator? While you still will want to be somewhat discreet because you don’t need the local newspapers all over it - a gov rep will light a fire under them.
I hope that you get closure soon, my deepest condolences.
:mad: I can’t believe they still haven’t figured it out (or let you know or whatever the case may be). I agree - see if you can contact a local legislator - it certainly can’t hurt, can it???
I’m so, so very sorry! I can’t even imagine the pain. My sympathies. 
I can not understand why they think being rude is okay. It must be so hard on you and of course the family too. Not knowing is a horrible feeling and kudos to you for moving closer to be with family. My sympathies and praying for an answer soon…
