I ran into a woman who had an unfortunate traumatic brain injury (runaway horse) I think it was in 2000 and while she was recouperating her ex sold her horses. Her QH barrell racer she called “Bronzie” or “Bronzy” and I will in the next few days get the details about this horse from her; he was only 5 years old at the time. Anyway, she said that her ex took her horses to a guy named “Don” in upstate NY who put them in an auction in “Umadillo”. I am not familiar with the locations or auctions here, having just moved to Albany, but thought I would ask if anyone know the name of that auction and where it is located. I amnot sure if “Umadillo” is really the location or correct name for the auction. Anyway, if anyone has any information about what auction I’m talkign about (I know, I don’t even know what auction I’m talking about) it would be helpful to me, I am going to try to gather as much info together about her horse she called “Bronzie” (dunno if that’s his registered name, probably not) and see if we can’t locate him today. Considering that he was registered, that his papers went with him, that he was young, supposedly winning in barrell racing, and apparently highly muscled up and gorgeous to look at and a very unsual bronze color, I’m hoping we might be able to track him down once I get some details to go searching with.
Meanwhile, anyone hear of a horse auction in “Umadillo” or something like that, NY?
thanks, AK
