Horse boarding in central Connecticut

Does anyone have any recommendations for a great barn in central Connecticut? I am relocating to Connecticut for work from Louisiana and am looking for a barn to keep my 7 year old ottb hunter. I would love an indoor, with a training program, but amateur friendly, thoroughbred project friendly, friendly no-drama environment, and super care for my horse. My job will be in Willimantic, and I’m thinking we’ll be living near Manchester/Glastonbury, but willing to look at other options for the right fit.

I will send you a PM.

Liz Drolet has a beautiful farm in Marlborough - Blue Dog Farm

Care is fantastic. I have 2 horses here currently.

Magnolia Run Equestrian Center- Willington, hunter/jumpers

Blue Dog Farm- Marlborough, hunter/jumpers

Galloway Farm- Glastonbury, hunter/jumpers

Full Circle Farm- Glastonbury/Manchester line, hunter/jumpers

Connecticut Equestrian Center- Coventry, dressage

Mystic Valley Hunt Club in Groton. You could live half way in between Willimantic and MVHC, which is on the north side of Groton.

Rendez-Vous Farm in Ashford
JJ Lavieri Stables in Lebanon (He only does full training board, but he’s a very soft rider and great with young horses.)

It’s been a long time, but I highly recommend Windcrest Farm in Hebron. Martha and Armand are fantastic. It’s right between Glastonbury and Willimantic, too!
