Horse Boarding in Minnesota

Moving back home after close to 30 years away (time to take care of folks).

I knew all the boarding places inside and out back then, but the must have changed over time…

Looking for a place close to Golden Valley. Prefer access to trails and an indoor for winter.

Any suggestions?

any comments on any of these places? (by PM if needed)

Ridesport Stables
Davenport Stables
Owls Nest
Horseplay Ranch

Go join the yahoo group TCCTList. It is the go to place for info in the twin cities for horse stuff. Just ask with what you are looking for in a barn.

Thanks I wil l

I second joining TCCT.

Jacqurei Oaks is great. I used to live in New Hope and it was an easy drive. It’s on the Luce Line and a very short trailer ride to Baker or Carver Parks. I used to ride to Baker, but it took a while and required crossing hwy 12 which could be tricky.

I bought my last horse (Curb Appeal) from Cheryl Davenport. She’s a great person and I know she’s pretty close to Elm Creek Park.

The Davenport place appeals to me since it is on the park

The couple of stables on the Luce line do too, but they are a little further from me…

thanks for the suggestions!
