Hi, I am moving to the Morgantown/ Fairmont, WV area soon. I am looking for some contacts for good boarding barns in the area. In addition to strong care and turn out I am also looking for a facility that has an indoor riding arena. Thanks

Agree on the “GO MOUNTAINEERS!” and check out Mountain Meadow Stables in Fairmont, (304) 534-9801. No experience with the place, wrong end of the state for me, just passed the sign while traveling.
Maybe USEA can help you do a search among its membership…otherwise, since you will be so close…querry PA folks. Good luck! 
Yikes! Tough area!!! My mom lives up that way (my parents’ first home was in Fairmont!) and my old guy lives on one of my uncle’s properties in that general area. It is not the hot bed of quality horse facilities, unfortunately, but I do believe there are a few closer in toward Morgantown (I think the school kinda gets better horse people). I recall a thread a couple of years ago regarding boarding for a WVU student. I think it was of h/j forum. Maybe if you do a thread you will find something. Mountain Meadows may have been one of the ones mentioned.
My cousin used to ride with a QH trainer in the Clarksburg area (not too far from Fairmont, 30 minutes from Morgantown), and he had an indoor. I visited there once (he started a youngster I gave my cousin for awhile and did a good job with her). The horses all looked great, the main barn was nice, the outside stalls weren’t fancy but they were safe and workman like. My biggest pet peeve was they didn’t dump the water buckets enough (pretty minor complaint, really). If you are interested, I can get contact info for that place from my cousin or uncle. I don’t think it was too far from the big interstate that runs through that part of the state (I79?..you’d think I would know, but I just drive the route, I don’t pay attention), so it would be easy to get to.
Go Mountaineers!!! I kept 2 horses up there while I was in school… I boarded at Dalton Stables. A little redneck but they took good care of my girls. There is a Meadowview Stable ??? that’s nice but I don’t know about turn out. And Michelle Koury has a H/J barn up there. I can probably get numbers for all those places if you want.
