Can you video the problem and show it to the vet? It may be easier to diagnose if she sees it.

Just a comment–we had a shivers/string halt horse and he evented very successfully through the CCI2* level, so that diagnosis isn’t always so done and gloom. He struggled a bit with the rein backs and turns on the haunches, but could usually get a six, and was consistent 7s and 8s on the other stuff, so scored well.

Generally these horses do fine, the only one with a “problem” is the farrier. If the farrier is able to cope then all is well.
