Horse facilities in Boise/Meridian, ID area?

I am considering a job in Meridian, ID and am investigating boarding facilities. I think there are several people on this board from the area, but most of the threads I can find are several years old so I would like some up-to-date information.

I am looking to spend approx. $400/month. I would prefer a stall with a run and daily turnout but pasture board (with shelter) or just a stall with daily pasture turnout also considered. Quality of care is most critical but I am not a picky owner (proper feeding with a focus on quality forage along with proper water 24/7 all year is my number one priority). Human amenities much less important to me. I travel a fair amount and don’t want to worry about my horse’s care while I am away.

I am an amateur low-level eventer and dressage enthusiast! I would love a facility that offers lessons in all three eventing phases, but if I had to pick one, I would prefer in-house jumping lessons (hunter/jumper is fine) and trailer out for monthly dressage lessons. A place with access to trails without trailering would be awesome as would a few cross country jumps!

Would like advice on whether an indoor arena is necessary for winter riding? I live in Spokane, WA and winter riding is impractical without an indoor. However, I notice a lot of boarding facilities in southwest ID don’t have one so maybe it isn’t as critical?

Thanks in advance!

I would highly recommend you check out Les Boise Dressage owned by Nadine Schwartsman. http://www.lesboisdressage.com/

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, $800/month board is a little outside my price range!

Here is the website. Sorry I had posted on your post on the dressage forum too. I would suggest contacting them. I am not sure if they board or not but I know for an eventer their facility offers and indoor arena, outdoor, and has a cross country course.

OOO and their website does say boarding with options on the facility page! Tell Sara Ashley and Chacha sent you!

Thanks. I have sent them an email and a Facebook message!

AKA Mittleider Eventing. I will send you an email today!

Thanks Brenda!

Oh yes the Mittleiders! Yes, they are great and Kim Hunter’s stallion Snapper out of Taz is there. GREAT place!
