Came across one the other day window shoppin’ just for fun online. NOT seriously. some promos are just so creative, fun, impressive…whatever. this one I shared the other night with a handful of my pony friends. Don’t know barn at all, have no connection to seller. Literally sharing as an example of one that I just enjoyed watching! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrqOsLfo7no
That is a super nice little horse…
I know, right? sale pending. someone gonna get one sweet pony!
AWESOME horse!
& Good video showing him off
My only objection is the music
Maybe 1 holiday song, as an intro, but I am not a fan of music on sales videos.
I want him for my mother.
If you’re trying to sell a nice family-friendly jack of all trades type of horse, that’s a great video.
I -ahem- AM the ‘mother’ I’d want him for! hahaha. yeah, he’s pretty exceptional in that video! And so young for all of that ease, ability and confidence.
Nah, not broke enough.
Yes, great sales video.
I also loved the fact that the horse was always beautifully turned out and groomed to within an inch of his life, even in casual situations.
I think he is cute and seems like an awesome pony but as sale videos go I am not a fan of this video for many reasons.
Great horse.
Not my idea of a good video.
Agreed, this would be a good supplementary video, but not the main sales ad. I skipped around a bunch.
I fast forwarded though parts of it too.
I think an initial sales video needs to be short - confo shot, w/t/c both directions, ring and outside the ring … 2 - 3 minutes, max.
And I hate music. I hate fancy affects switching from this shot to the next.
A real sales video is like @McGurk describes above. This is a fun with the pony sales video with annoying music and other such things.
Again, he seems like a lovely horse.
Video sucks as a sales video.
Super nice little horse but the part with him on the flatbed trailer made me cringe. Made me wonder what other “unconventional” training methods might be going on. However, pulling the kids on sleds was awesome.
Ditto.
I know I’m boring, but I like to see some basics in a sales video: in good light, on a good surface, horse standing well, views of feet, legs, w/t away from and towards the camera before I see any tricks.
I missed what his asking price was? What a nice boy.
I loved it! I wanted to buy him after watching all of that…and I have absolutely no need for another horse! I don’t care about whether he can do something perfectly or not and whether he can do any particular “weird” thing (like walking onto the utility trailer and being towed around), I just love 4 year olds with brains like that.
I put together a similar video for the pony I have for sale (not as the main sales video), but this puts mine to shame!
I want him. Super cute! He will make someone a great best friend.
I loved him, too! But I also loved that there were at least two mules being shown in that same under-saddle class, and I kind of want one of them as well!
I don’t care about walking through stores. I was impressed when I saw him (albeit in blinkers) at 4 being a good sport about towing two hooligans in sleds through a corn field… but then I got to the part where he backs up off of a see-saw flatbed. Consider me impressed. He looked nervous throughout but listening to his handler, which I really like in a 4 y/o. What a nice young horse who clearly has a good sense of humor. Has anyone shown this to @saturnalian yet? Not pinto but does meet your buckskin criteria.
The only thing that made me wince besides the female’s hands, was the trotting on the road. I know nothing about this but for a 4 year old he seems to have done an awful lot and I have hear the term road founder.
I wonder if all that done on such a young horse will mean he will not be sound into his old age.
