Horse friendly B and B's

I am hoping to go the CBLM’s in October. It is a 10+ hour drive and I would love to give my horse a break for that drive. Can anyone recommend a decent place to spend the night between PA and KY? Maybe in WVA? Thanks.

I used to travel with my horses and nearly always broke up the trip with an overnight somewhere. I found all of my layover places by googling:

overnight accommodations with horse stabling

or

bed and breakfasts with horse stabling

Links will come up and at least one of them ( horsemotel.com?) has a map of the US and you can click on the state you need.

I never had a bad stay anywhere. I wish I was still traveling around, but I mostly stick close to home now.

If you are in Lancaster, stopping at Hunter’s Rest in Flint Hill, VA, would break your drive up into 3 hrs the first day and 7 the second. I would probably prefer a more even split personally, but just an idea.

I have stayed at Hunter’s Rest in Flint Hill, VA a couple of times.

Okay. I am confused. I was not sure what CBLM was. After a little Googling I am guessing it is Colonel Bengt Ljungquist Memorial Championships since that is Oct 13-16. However OP is asking about where to stay between PA and KY. These championships are in Lexington, VA not Lexington, KY. Lexington VA appears to be just around 4.5 hours and Lexington, KY is close to 10 hours from Lancaster.
Am I missing something?

If you are going through Virginia check out Penmerryl Farm:

Right off of I-81, close (ish) to the Horse Center, and a super friendly family-run facility/B&B that is also a working horse farm.
