Horse friendly television set

Thought I would ask to see if this does exist. Is there a television on the market that you can live stream the usef channel through? Would love to watch Devon and such on a bigger than a computer screen. Any suggestions?

I believe if your tv had an hdmi cable spot and your computer/ laptop has one you can join them together.

Smart tv with internet capabilities might also be able to directly get used but not sure about that.

people more techy than I can help I’m sure.

my mare enjoyed watching a standard TV … but my neighbor just got a ultra high def tv that he uses as both as a computer monitor and tv… it is 60 inch or so

I am hoping that someone who has actually done it will chime in. I had a Samsung smart tv about 5 years ago and it was not able to do that at the time.

My friend uses a Chromecast to stream it from a phone or laptop to the TV. We watched Rolex that way this year and last. I believe you need an HDMI port on the TV and a Wifi network, as well as a compatible device (most current phones or laptops should work).

We have a RokuTV in the basement in the workout area, and I have an app on my iPad called TV Cast (Roku) that allows me to cast videos from iPad to the TV. I use it to do BodyPump on demand. Corny, I know. But I’m sure you could do the streaming video the same way. The app just needs a link with a video.

I have the Amazon Fire which streams from phone to TV it’s a breeze to install as long as your tv has the port for it, which I believe is HDMI? I can stream a lot with it as others have mentioned but FEITV doesn’t work on it which is annoying. I think ROKU is better for FEI TV. I think the newer smart tvs will also live strearm

Yes you can hook up a laptop to a tv with an hdmi cable. I have one hooked up to my sharp aquos as we speak. You can also hook them up using a standard vga cable like you would the older style computer monitors if your tv has one.

We have an LG smart TV and I can sometimes use the browser on the TV to watch internet on TV. Some formats are blocked to TV - so we use the Airbeam Mirror app to screenshare the computer over to the TV.
I found that this $10 app was cheaper than getting the right length HDMI cords to connect the 2. (they are in the same room, btw)

I have an Apple TV that I AirPlay equine videos to from my laptop.
