My friends horse who just had surgery on her foot on Monday escaped her stall at Marion Dupont Equine Medical Center at Morven Park tonight. She is missing somewhere on the property. They have given up looking for the night but have a search party going setting out at 6:30 am in the morning 9/19. If anyone knows anyone who lives near the hospital please tell them to keep an eye out for a loose horse and call the hospital if found. She is chestnut mare.
Her owner is understandable frantic as well as any horse owner would be. Any help would be greatly appriciated!
They found her the next morning about a mile and a half away from the hospital. She is recovering. Needless to say a very long night for all involved.
