Horse pedigree

If this isn’t the correct place to post this please let me know and I’ll move it to the correct place

Can anyone give me their opinions on this studs breeding? (Unfortunately I am no good with pedigrees!)

Thanks!

Do you have specific plans for a specific discipline?

Of course, the Fire Water Flit line of horses have made their mark on the barrel racing industry, as well as Bully Bullion, which is on the sire side of the pedigree you posted, but a little farther back in the 3rd generation.

I don’t recognize anything from the dam side that is close enough to mention.

What do you want to do with him or breed to him for and how is the mare bred if it’s to breed too?

Both top and bottom look to be on the speedy side but not recognizing anything close up.

He’s really all over the map. He goes back to Zan Parr Bar, Impressive and The Ole Man on the damside. ZPB sired mostly western performance horses. Impressive was almost exclusively a halter horse sire (and the originator of HYPP so get this horse tested) and The Ole Man was a pretty diverse sire of performance and race horses.
The sire side is undoubtedly for speed. The Fire Water horses are well known in barrel racing as are Dash for Cash offspring. Sire side also goes back to Go Man Go who was a quality racehorse.
Generally a lot of running blood on the sire side and performance on the dam side. With a random dollop of Impressive.

I see nothing I recognize --but my QH knowledge is pretty much foundation and cutting/sorting. Give me a Hancock any day, but wouldn’t walk a way from a Playboy or Poco Bueno.
