Horse removed from Equibase,equiline?? why

;)I was trying to show someone how to use Equibase,equiline and pedigree.com. I used my OTTB as an example but,he wasn’t coming up . Why? I checked my other OTTB who is older comes up but , Capital Flyer does not. I already have Capital Flyers (Simon’s) stellar race record. He won an impressive $429.00 ;);) . After reading the remarks on his race record I think one was “out-Run” while the other race was " lacked interest " . This is probably why his career was over at 2. This is also why I have a very athletic 6 yr old who is a great A’O horse in the making!:yes: He is going to be something special we are just taking our time

By the looks of it he had great breeding ! He was by Distinctive Pro out of Five Buck Marshall by Spectacular Bid. He was NY Breed and his two starts were Finger Lakes. I have a copy of his JC papers . I know who breed him and who trained him. Even what facility he was sent to in SC he was sent to be broke.

I found out more info he has a full brother Marsh Dawg by five buck Marshall and did have a half brother Grey Comet who was euthanized in 2003 ? I think I have that right? I was trying to maybe look for some pictures , Dam ,Sire and Grandsire . Plus any siblings . From what I found good looking family ! I found Five Buck Marshall she is at CUNY ? In NY found some pics and a blog she was in foal at the time I was hoping it would be Simon,nope it was Marsh Dawg. Simon’s left side of his face is indented . Vets think mom stepped on him but who knows?

So why can’t I find him anymore? I can still find my older guy Derbys Moment but I can’t find any other info .Than race records and JC papers .

Wow, not going to say anything but thank you … If I actually paid attention and stopped relying on technology . I would have seen spell check corrected Capitol to Capital.

If you ever get something like that, and I keep telling people this–try brisnet.com They are just as accurate as equineline, and in their horse search they will give you close matches, so if you misspell but are still in the ballpark, you should find what you’re looking for.

And that was my first thought–you’re spelling his name wrong.

I had the same thing happen.

Had a friend try to find the record of a horse I thought was named Echelon Times. Had what we thought was a P in front of his tattoo. Tried for a few years all around. I am all but certain he raced.

Never did find his record.

Just went to brisnet but can’t figure it out. I will try again! THanks!

According to brisnet Echelon Times was unraced. It says grey colt foaled January 27,1987 by High Echelon out of Krissy Lynn by Bold Lad. See 105E under pedigree and lifetime starts. It is free.
