@dani0303 , appreciate the clarification - that being said, when we looked for this horse, I specifically wanted one that had at least some sort of potential to do the highs. The weekend we tried him, we watched 20-25 horses free jump, many of which were appropriate 1.20-1.30 prospects and were priced accordingly, in line with the budget you mention. All were of a similar training level to my horse.
Point being, I still think the horse you describe is not such a complete impossibility, but you only get two of three in terms of cheap, broke, or sound. You may have to be willing to compromise and the horse you want may not be the shiny one advertised on websites - it’s more likely to be the one in someone’s field that has for some reason or another been not out there being aggressively marketed. It may take someone with a good eye at picking out diamonds in the rough to help you out.
