Horse stall fan recommendations

Does anyone have any safe and good recommendations for an outdoor rated fan that is bigger than 18”? I currently have the 18” fan from Ramm Fencing, but the temperatures are so high here in Florida right now I think I might need something bigger or just add a second fan.

I got this one on Amazon a month or so back and it is super powerful:
Bilt-Hard
20 inch Sealed Wall Fan
SKU - HFB- 0403/HFB- 404
$70.
3 speed Sealed

Thank you! I’m going to check it now, it looks great! Do you find that it’s cooling enough for just the one fan or do you use two of them in a stall?

I bought the 12" version of this fan and it has worked well. I have three of them, two are on their second season. Mounting was easy. (It comes in larger sizes too.)

I think one fan would work in a stall, I have mine outdoors in a large shady paddock and it’s great until Miss NoBrain moves out of the fan area.
Even 15 ft. Away it’s still effective.

I have found a big difference in an 18 inch fan vs a 20 inch fan as far as air flow. That doesn’t seem logical but there it is. Maybe the 18 inch fans I bought had other differences that affected airflow. In the heat down here I don’t think a 12 inch fan would cut it. Unless it was turned up to high maybe. Is that more economical than a 20 inch fan turned on low? I can’t answer that.

I’m not sure what size fans I have, but I do wish I had installed them at the front of the stall so they would blow in the aisle air, as opposed to the back of the stall where they are. My barn gets great ventilation in the aisle and the stalls get less, even with Dutch doors open, because of the wind pattern here. Something to consider.

I find the 12" fan to be OK, but I certainly would like something bigger.
I had restrictions on size because of where it was being put.

I have the 18" version of those BiltHards recommended above. When they poop out they will be replaced with 20".

I always have mine on high. They move a lot of air, but I want more lol.

We are on year 2 with this one from TSC: CountyLine 30 in. 3-Speed Indoor Wall-Mounted Oscillating Fan at Tractor Supply Co

Moves a ton of air. Love the oscillating feature.

My understanding is the safest type fan for a barn/stall is labeled “Sealed” suitable for outdoor use. Otherwise the motor is open to collect dust or hay and more conducive to fire.
I’d worry about the TSC fan as it’s called an indoor fan, not sealed.
