Horse tail clip on extension for Halloween or other ideas?

I just got word that my wait list for a dressage show has been granted for this weekend. This is a Halloween costumed show. I just plan to be generic orange and black since I don’t have time for much planning. I ordered some orange mane extensions. Do they make inexpensive extensions for tails? Any other ideas??

Can you just use the spray in costume coloring to make the tail orange?

These extensions, for humans are 22" long, which I realize is not long enough for a full tail look but still fun.

Go to Sally’s. They have temp orange spray that washes out easily.

Thanks! I think 22" would work. I can start them in the middle, maybe. I like the idea of spray, except that the following weekend I have my year end “championship” show (local dressage association) and I don’t want to take the chance of me not being able to wash it out before then!

Go with the extensions!
I made my bay TB a Killer Bee by spraying furazone stripes on his butt.
They would not wash, brush or curry out for days :grimacing:

Ha! Reminds me of the time my sister and I used that silver AluSpray stuff to make star stencils on a horse’s butt.

You can also get a dreadlock wig and refashion it into some sort of tail piece. I did this for a Rasta costume one year – I think I attached it using pipecleaners or yarn.
