Horse Trailer Sliding Windows - how to "unstick"?

I have a 2H BP with windows that slide open and closed. I have used WD-40, but they’re still really difficult to slide open or closed – accompanied by that awful nails-on-chalkboard screeching sound

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to make these windows slide more smoothly?

Just fixed this same problem in my trailer with a can of silicone spray.

Nice! What was the brand name? Where did you purchase it?

Same here. I bought a can of silicone spray at either Walmart or TSC (or both, I have two cans). I don’t think brand really matters.

I got it at Tractor Supply.

If you have a bottle of ShowSheen around, that is silicone. Maybe not 100% pure, but enough to be worth trying! I know it makes anything I try to hold slick as…well, you know!

I used a dry lubricant spray from HD. I can’t remember if it was silicone or not, but it’s easy to find in the section with the WD-40, etc.

Ditto the silicone spray. You don’t want to use WD-40 on external windows/doors. Dirt sticks to it and gums up the slider - even though it seems like it’s working well when you first use it. Clean the slide area first … then apply the silicone. Unless something is bent it should do the job.
