Horses named for Beatrix Potter characters?

In NJ in the mid- to late-90s, someone was showing (hunters, I believe, though maybe jumpers) named for Beatrix Potter characters. I recall Peter Rabbit and Mrs. Tiggywinkle. Did anyone ever run into others? I wish to God I knew who was coming up with those names. I’m a Beatrix groupie.

I’m no help with the horses, but as a fellow BP groupie, have you seen this book? I have a copy and love seeing all her other artwork—especially the close-up studies of fungi and little rodents.

Hmmm, @BrownDerby. This fits the location and timeline.

I would love a pony called Jemima Puddleduck.

There was a horse competing Burghley decades ago with that name.

Same! I’ve always thought that and Squirrel Nutkin would make very cute pony names

I don’t know if it’s the same one but there was a pony Miss Tiddlywinks who was a chestnut and while mare and she was a pony ring, then short stirrup, then lead line fixture for DECADES and I think is still around NJ.
