I’ve been looking for a new joint supplement for my older pony and also a vitamin/mineral supplement and have stumbled across the Horsetech products.
From their website, they seem to have quite a selection of supplements, and they look very complete and high quality.
Just wondering if anybody feeds any Horsetech products? If so, which ones, and do you like their quality and effectiveness? (Please do reply even if you feed something other than the joint or vitamin/mineral products!)

I don’t really believe in joint products other than MSM and Adequan. But I do feed the Glanzen Lite for hoof and coat. I love it! My horse grows a gorgeous, thick, shiny coat with it, and his feet have really improved. They will also flavor it for you if your horse is a picky eater. They are a wonderful company to work with–they’ll send you samples of different flavors, supplements, etc. I have nothing bad to say!
I love horsetech!! I’ve fed the glanzen lite for years!! When I got my TB he had allergies to the no seeums (gnats) Started feeding the glanzen lite and no more allergies 
His coat is glossy and his feet are better. He also doesn’t seem to fade like the others do on day turnout.
Horsetech is pretty nice about sending samples if you give them a call.
Tried the Trisport, not sure if it had much of an effect. But, great company to work with and the sample they sent me was a two pound bag! Enough to do a thirty day trial. Am currently waiting for a sample of the new multivitamin, emailed them yesterday and they emailed me today(Sunday!) that it’s being sent out tomorrow! I think only Smartpak rivals that kind of response.

I love Horsetech products. I have been feeding reitsport for about 6 years now to my horse. Obviously, I am very pleased with the product because I have stuck with it for this long - and it isn’t exactly the cheapest supplement on the market.
They are a great company customer service wise, which also has kept me coming back. I value that just as much as the product itself, and Rod has always gone above and beyond to please the customer. I was also impressed that the were one of the first companies to get on board with the NASC approval too.
I always get compliments on my horses coat and mane/tail. His hoof growth is amazing on it too. I have nothing but high recommendations for Horsetech and its products.
Platinum Performance is very similar to horsetech, and I have heard good things about them as well. Price wise they are also similar. You may be able to purchase individually each of the products, but that is time consuming and honestly I just dont have the time or the drive to keep track of it all. Much easier to just get it all in one product!
Horsetech makes fantastic products and their customer service is always amazing. I was going out of town once and had ordered supps right before leaving, not realizing the credit card they kept on file had expired. When I got home a week or so later my supplements were here… And an email asking me to call them with a new number when I had a chance. That was impressive… I deal extensively with Uckele and can be sure that they would have rejected the order, justifiably so… My guess is Rod took the time to check my history and the expiration date and figured I needed my stuff and I was a safe risk. What a great company.
Another Glanzen fan here! My horses always get complimented on their shiny coats.

I have my new mare on Glanzen (crappy coat and hooves from being malnourished) and I can already tell the difference after just a few weeks!
I used to give my gelding the UltraFlax, until I figured out that ANY amount of fat in his diet makes him nuts! I might try the Glanzen on him as I am thinking that the B vitamins might counteract the effect that the fat has on him! I have been considering a calming supplement for him anyways as he is just kind of a nervous guy! I might ask about a custom blend for him…

Another Glanzen-GL fan here. It is really good high quality product that has given my 24yo gelding that “little something extra” that he needed to really bloom.
HorseTech customer service is superior! One a scale of 1-10, they are 10. They are very generous with their samples, so feel free to ask if you need to.
Great company. I feed my old, crippled GSP rescue the Hylasport Canine and she’s doing well on it. And, yes, they send cookies! they are usually at Equine Affaire in MA, so check around for any events in your area they might attend. Do call them, though. They will work with you to create whatever you need and will send generous samples.
I order my minerals a la carte from Horsetech and mix them myself according to my hay analysis. Great quality, price and customer service. Love the cookies!

Have always had great experiences with Horsetech Their Canine Hylasport has worked wonders for my two old ladies at home. Haven’t had much experience with their equine joint supplements since my horse’s current system seems to be working pretty well. LOVE the cookies!!
Great company! they will also do custom mixes. Rod will consult over the phone to figure out what best meets your needs. Great customer service also. They were the best source for Muck Boots when I bought mine, because they don’t charge for shipping.

Rod sponsors my event horse.
He makes a custom blend of Glanzen lite and Pre Ox for my horse.
I feed it with beet pulp and alfalfa pellets.
They also have their version of Cool Calories that comes in a 20lb tub. (FB-100).
and I feed flax.
I am not a fan of feed through joint supplements (other then Yucca and/or MSM). It’s not less expensive then injectables and there are injectables that we know work.
Horsetech also has awesome ice boots. ; )
They do a very nice E & Selenium supplement with Se yeast (Selen AT) that Mr Picky finds very palatable, and I get my Mag Ox from them. Super helpful customer service and fast shipping… and of course the cookies
Another vote for Horsetech here, I absolutely love them! When my mare had a broken splint bone, he spoke to me personally on her supplements and sent me a qt bottle of silica for her to try and see if it helped her healing (anecdotal but she started finally getting better 3 days after i started the the silica). they are top notch in my book and I will be using their products as long as they are in business.
